THE MANAGEMENT OF THEME PARK
IN THE VIEW OF EXPERIENCE ECONOMY
ABSTRACT: Theme park, a rising experienced tourism product, has been quickly accepted and welcomed by enormous tourists around the world in the past years. In China, despite the theme park industry do get a golden flourishing opportunity in a short period, there are also some drawbacks existing in the business and management field. Based on the core theories of experience economy, we briefly review the definition, basic characteristics and backgrounds of theme park; Then, the essay points out some common problems from the aspects of "experience creativity", "experience quality" and "experience extension" with some practical strategies to "build up an enjoyable experience" for the tourists; Besides, some general trends of theme park industry are also mentioned in the last part of this article.
