Abstract
Lower Bainite organizations is considered to be a more desirable mechanical properties of the integrated organization,and white cast iron is an excellent anti-wear materials,therefore the subject is a study of bainitic wear-resistant white cast iron .Three components of white cast iron samples to be used in three types of quenching process to get the Lower Bainite.Heating the samples to 900 ° C for 1 hour to form complete austenite, quenching in sodium silicate for different times and then insulating them for 1.5 hours in cenosphere、isothermal oil or isothermal molten salt at different isothermal temperature for 1 hour. Experimental results show:Lower Bainite can not be obtained in sample I (12%-16%Cr、2.8%-3.0%C、0.8%-1.2%Si、0.6%-0.8%Mn );sample Ⅱ(4%-6%Cr、2.8%-3.0%C、0.8%-1.2%Si、0.6%-0.8%Mn);and sample Ⅲ(2%-3%Cr、2.9%-3.1%C、0.8%-1.2%Si、0.6%-0.8%Mn).It's considered to be Lacking of Ni, Mo, Cu and other alloying elements,which is very key to Lower Bainite to be obtained,as well as the formation of inadequate conditions, so Lower Bainite is diffcult to be obtained.
